Lincoln City assistant head coach Tom Shaw has signed a contract extension with the League One club until the summer of 2029.

Shaw has been with the Imps for eight years, coaching in the club's academy before becoming first team coach in 2022.

He had a spell as interim head coach in the 2023-24 season, before taking the assistant head coach role when Michael Skubala was appointed head coach.

"I've been here a long time in a number of different roles and to get to this point for me and my family to sign for the foreseeable future, I'm really pleased," Shaw told the club website, external.

"I love the football club: it's been a big part of my coaching life and journey so I'm happy to be extending my stay."

Lincoln's director of football Jez George added: "Tom has grown as a coach over the past seven years and undoubtedly has a bright future, so we are delighted that he has signed a new contract, and we continue aiming to achieve our next ambition together."
