Selles defends Hull performance in FA Cup knockout

Hull City boss Ruben Selles says his side's finishing rather than performance the issue in their FA Cup exit at home to League Two Doncaster.
Selles, whose side are third from bottom in the Championship, continued their poor form as they were knocked out the competition by a side two divisions and 33 places below them.
Speaking to BBC Radio Humberside, Selles said: "The players feel disappointed. We did enough to win the game. The feeling is bad because you know you should be in the next round.
"I don't see the performance as a problem, we did enough to win the game, I think the final third situations we need to be better. We need to finish the game.
"What makes everything bad is the result. We were as close as we can be."
Selles also thought Rovers keeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe should have seen red for a late foul on Abu Kamara, adding: "It's that obvious I don't even need to talk about."
"We knew it was a difficult game - it's the FA Cup, we know what it is. We managed to minimise their possession but we conceded a goal which should not have happened - that put us on the back foot.
"We equalised and had the chance to win it in 90 minutes, we didn't, we went to extra-time and had a couple of chances, we didn't take them, we went to penalties, 4-3 ahead with the chance to finish it… we didn't.
"When you have that many opportunities to finish the game and you don't take them, you end up paying the price – that's what happened today. We need to be more ruthless."
Selles hopes to complete a deal to loan forward Joe Gelhardt from Leeds in the coming days.
"I don't like to comment on players at other clubs until it's official," he said.
"But the way he plays would suit our game and hopefully he will be part of us soon."
