Accrington sign King's Lynn defender Sass

Freddie Sass helped King's Lynn to a seventh-placed finish in National League North last season

Accrington Stanley have signed King's Lynn Town left-back Freddie Sass on a two-year deal.

The 23-year-old former Marine man joins Stanley as a free agent after making 33 appearances in his one season with the Linnets.

"I am buzzing to be here. It's been a dream of mine to reach the EFL - it's a really proud moment for me and my family and something I am extremely grateful for," he told the club website.

"I have seen Devon Matthews and Tyler Walton here, players I used to play with, and for it to finally happen, I can't put it into words. I am so grateful to be here."
