Middlesbrough have signed full-back Callum Brittain from fellow Championship side Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old joins Boro on a four-year contract having made 113 appearances for Blackburn in three years with the club.
Prior to joining Rovers, Brittain came through MK Dons' academy and later joined Barnsley.
"It was the right time for me to make the next step in my career, and I'm excited to be here," Brittain said, external of his move to the Riverside.
"I had a really good chat with the gaffer about how he wants to play and his ambition while he's here, and it's clearly an environment where everyone is pulling in the same direction.
"I can't wait to get going."
Brittain is Rob Edwards' third signing of the summer, along with Abdoulaye Kante and Alfie Jones.
