Rangers have signed Albania midfielder Nedim Bajrami from Sassuolo and Feyenoord defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo, as Todd Cantwell leaves Ibrox for Blackburn Rovers.

Rangers say Bajrami, who has signed "a long-term contract" after an undisclosed fee was agreed, is someone manager Philippe Clement has "kept a close eye on".

The 25-year-old scored the fastest goal in European Championship finals history after just 23 seconds in this summer's 2-1 defeat by Italy.

"Nedim is a good age but someone who also has experience of playing in big games," Clement added.

Kasanwirjo, 22, joins on a season-long loan, having had a similar spell at Rapid Vienna in Austria last term. The agreement contains an option to make it a permanent transfer next summer.

Clement expects Kasanwirjo to be "a big asset" because of his ability to play in "a number of defensive positions".

Cantwell, meanwhile, has joined Championship Blackburn for an undisclosed fee after falling out of favour following a summer transfer request, while winger Scott Wright was sold to Birmingham City earlier in the day.
