Tom Davies has signed a new one-year contract with Cardiff City.
The Wales Under-21 defender made his senior Cardiff bow during the Bluebirds' 3-2 Carabao Cup victory over Sutton United in 2021.
The 20-year-old joined Pontypridd United on a temporary basis before impressing during a season-long loan with Scottish side Kilmarnock last term.
Speaking to Cardiff City TV, Davies said: “I’ve been with the club for the best part of 10 years, so being a Cardiff boy I’m delighted.
"I want to establish myself now in the first team. I have a bit of experience around it from before, so now I hope I can push on."
The left-back's new deal will see him remain with Erol Bulut's side until at least the summer of 2025.
Cardiff also hold an option to extend the contract by an additional 12 months.
Davies added: “I grew up going to all of the games and there are still a few players from then who are here now, so it’s really good to be training with them everyday.
"A few of the boys got their opportunities at the end of last season, so hopefully I can be the next one to break through.”
