Fassnacht returns to Young Boys from Norwich

Christian Fassnacht's only start for Norwich this season came in the opening day defeat at Oxford United

Norwich City midfielder Christian Fassnacht has re-signed for Swiss side Young Boys on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

The 31-year-old joined the Canaries from Young Boys in July 2023 and made 47 appearances in all competitions last season.

However, he featured only three times in the first half of this campaign and now returns to a club he played 251 games for in his first spell.

The Switzerland international will officially re-join the side when the Swiss transfer window opens on 15 January.
