Barnet have signed free-agent midfielder Emmanuel Osadebe ahead of their return to League Two.

The 28-year-old was released by Forest Green Rovers at the end of the season having helped them reach the National League play-off semi-finals.

He has previously played in the English Football League for clubs including Gillingham, Cambridge United, Macclesfield and Walsall.

He played 61 league games for Forest Green after joining them from Bradford City in January 2024.

Osadebe becomes the fourth new player to join Dean Brennan's squad since the Bees won the National League title.

"Manny's a super athletic lad and ticks a lot of boxes for us in that department with his power and his build," Brennan said.

"Not just that; he's got good technical ability and we believe we can help him be a better player. We believe we can help him score more goals and add that to his game.

"He bought into our philosophy and our mindset. We think he's going to be a real asset for us. We think he's going to be a strong player for the group."
