Birmingham City defender Ethan Laird has signed a new two-year contract extension to remain with the League One club until the summer of 2028.
The 23-year-old joined Blues from Manchester United in June 2023 and featured 26 times as they were relegated from the Championship last season.
Laird, who has been out since late August with an ankle injury, has featured six times in all competitions so far this term as Birmingham have made a strong start to their first campaign in England's third tier for 29 years.
"Everyone knows the direction where this club is going, and I am buzzing that the board see me fit to be a part of it – and long may it continue," Laird told the club website., external
