Arsenal centre-back William Saliba has said the Gunners "don't deserve" to be top of the Premier League.

Arsenal are 15 points adrift of leaders Liverpool and have 10 league games left to play, one fewer than Arne Slot's Reds.

They drew 1-1 with Manchester United on Sunday and having lost some of their key attackers to injuries, they have only scored one goal in their past three league matches.

"If they [Liverpool] are first it is because they did something that we didn't do. Of course there is a big gap," Saliba said.

"We have to keep going. They are so good as well.

"I think this season, we don't deserve to be at the top. We have to keep going. We are second and there is a Champions League as well, we will push."
