An injury-hit Guernsey FC were soundly beaten 3-1 away to second-placed Kingstonian in the Isthmian League South Central division.
The Green Lions went behind inside the first half an hour when keeper Josh Addison's deflected save allowed K's captain Stan Flaherty to fire into an empty net.
The home side added two goals in the second half again through Flaherty, and top scorer Eddie Simon, before Fin Patterson scored a consolation for the visitors.
A fifth successive defeat leaves Tony Vance's side fourth from bottom but only two points from safety with a game in hand.
After the 4-0 thrashing by Ascot United on Saturday, Guernsey came into the game with a point to prove.
Both sides started brightly, but when Addison came charging out of his goal after 25 minutes to save a shot from Simon, it left Flaherty in the clear with the whole goal at his mercy.
Vance was forced into two first-half substitutions after injuries to both Niall Hainsworth and midfielder Charlton Gauvain.
The second half was fairly even after the break, until the Kingstonian captain claimed his second when he curled his shot well out of reach of the keeper, and into the top corner of the net.
Simon, who has 30 goals to his name this season, eventually got on the scoresheet when he broke into the area and fired neatly past Addison.
It went from bad to worse for the Green Lions when Sam Murray was forced off through injury, leaving just 10 players on the pitch.
Paterson's goal was only his second for Guernsey FC since the teenager made his debut in August, but it also prevented his side from going a fifth game without scoring.
