When is the EFL Cup third-round draw?

The draw for the third round of the 2025-26 EFL Cup takes place on Wednesday, 27 August.
Proceedings will start after the conclusion of the second-round tie between League Two's Grimsby Town and Premier League side Manchester United.
The teams involved in Europe will enter the competition at this stage and will join the other 23 winners from the second round.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace will all find out their opponents.
The draw will also no longer be split into northern and southern regions from this stage of the competition.
The third round fixtures will take place across two weeks, beginning on 15 and 22 September.
