Anthony Williams has resigned as first team manager of Aberystwyth Town.
Williams - who joined the Park Avenue club in May 2022 and twice helped them stave off relegation from the top-flight - submitted his intention to stand down following the 3-0 defeat by Connah's Quay on Friday night.
The Seasiders confirmed they accepted the resignation offer following a board meeting on Monday night.
Club chairman Donald Kane said: "It is with great sadness that we have accepted Taff’s resignation. Unfortunately, a series of injuries in recent weeks have hindered our progress.
"Anthony was not just a great manager but a person everyone grew to respect and admire, which makes this decision even harder. We hope to see him return to football in the future and extend our best wishes to him. He will always be a friend of Aberystwyth Town FC."
Aberystwyth sit rock bottom of the Cymru Premier table having lost nine of their opening 11 league games of the season.
Following confirmation of his departure, Williams said: "I have enjoyed every moment of my time at Aberystwyth Town, and it has been a privilege to work with such a passionate group of players, staff, and supporters."
Aberystwyth return to action against league leaders Penybont on Saturday (14:30 BST).
