Angus Gunn is a doubt for Scotland's Nations League double-header after the goalkeeper picked up a knock in Norwich City's 4-0 win over Hull City in the Championship.

Gunn, who has established himself as Scotland's number one over the past year, was injured during the closing stages of the first half at Carrow Road.

He did not appear after the interval, with understudy George Long taking his place.

Norwich head coach Johannes Hoff said: "Angus jumped to take the ball and took a knock in the ribs. He was in some discomfort and was unable to come out for the second half.

"It's too early to say if he will be able to go away with Scotland – we'll know more once he has had a scan."

Scotland visit Croatia on Saturday before hosting Portugal three days later.

Head coach Steve Clarke is already without 10 players through injury and is also short of options in goal.

Craig Gordon was recalled to the squad in place of Zander Clark after the 41-year-old won his regular starting place back with Heart of Midlothian.

Dundee's Jon McCracken, who was called up for the first time in September, retained his place in the latest squad.

Of recent call-ups, Robby McCrorie regained his starting place with Kilmarnock on Saturday, while Liam Kelly remains back-up to Jack Butland after joining Rangers from Motherwell.

Meanwhile, twice-capped striker Ross Stewart lasted just 21 minutes into his first start since joining Southampton from Sunderland last September.

The 28-year-old had made four substitute appearances since returning from long-term injury last month but limped off early at the Emirates, where replacement Cameron Archer gave the visitors the lead before Arsenal fought back to win 3-1.
