Rooney slams Argyle attackers after Millwall loss

Wayne Rooney has criticised Plymouth Argyle's attacking players after their 1-0 loss at Millwall.
The defeat was was a fifth successive away loss, without scoring a goal, in all competitions for the Pilgrims.
It meant they dropped to 21st place in the Championship - two points and one spot off the relegation zone.
"Every attacking player who entered the field tonight wasn't good enough," Rooney told BBC Radio Devon.
"We didn't hold the ball up well enough, we didn't make enough runs in behind - as a whole all the attacking players didn't create nowhere near enough, so that's disappointing."

Rooney added: "I think for all the attacking players there was more in them.
"I'm disappointed with that because I felt we had control of the game and we just didn't pass the ball forward enough crisply.
"We didn't play between the lines quick enough, we didn't get out wide and get crosses in the box enough, we didn't get shots off.
"Everything I wanted to see, really we didn't do, so that's a bit frustrating."
Rooney gave a debut to free-agent signing Andre Gray as a substitute but said he regretted leaving promising teenagers Tegan Finn and Caleb Roberts in the stands, having had both travel down with the side.
"You look at it and think it's great for the two of them to be here with us and travel with you and be around the team," he added.
"They were very close to being involved, so you can always look at that when you lose a game and you're always trying to figure out what you could've done differently and the two of them might have made the difference."
