Barrow have signed striker Kane Hemmings on a one-year contract.
Hemmings, 34, has been on trial with the League Two club, having been released by Crewe earlier this summer when his contract expired.
He began his senior career in Scotland at Rangers and has also had spells north of the border at Dundee and Cowdenbeath.
His career has also included stints at Barnsley, Notts County, his hometown club Burton, Tranmere, Stevenage and Oxford United.
Hemmings joined Crewe last summer after leaving Stevenage. He made 20 league appearances for the Railwaymen, scoring four goals.
