Barnet have signed former Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough forward Britt Assombalonga.
The 32-year-old spent the last two seasons in Turkey, having most recently played in England during a six-month stay with Watford in 2023.
Assombalonga, who has won 10 caps for DR Congo, is expected to bring "vast experience and bundles of quality" to the Bees, head coach Dean Brennan said.
"The timing for us is perfect and Britt wants to come back to the UK and come back to the London area where he's from," Brennan added.
"He always comes in with a smile on his face and we know he's a great character and he'll be great with the young players."
On his decision to join the Bees, Assombalonga said: "After speaking to the gaffer and [assistant manager] Connor [Smith], it's something that I wanted to do and we finally got it over the line.
"Dean [Brennan] just wants me to be me at the end of the day and get back to doing what I do best."
The length of Assombalonga's contract with the League Two club has not been disclosed.
Barnet are 10th in the table having lost their most recent outing against Notts County on Saturday.
