Lorne Bickley's goal was not enough to seal victory for Jersey Bulls

Jersey Bulls conceded a late equaliser as they drew 2-2 with high-flying Three Bridges in Isthmian League South East.

Bulls went ahead via a 14th-minute James Queree penalty - his second successful spot kick in as many games - after Lorne Bickley had been brought down in the box.

The hosts created chances, as did the islanders, who went close through Miguel Carvalho and Rai Dos Santos before half time.

Three Bridges drew level 10 minutes after the interval when their skipper Noel Leighton headed home from close range at the far post.

The hosts put Bulls under pressure, but it was the Jersey side that found a goal when Lorne Bickley cut inside and fired home left-footed with 23 minutes to go.

Bickley nearly made it 3-1 soon after as he almost chipped the goalkeeper from long range.

But just as Bulls thought they would get a memorable away win at the side second in the division Reece Hallard fired in from the edge of the area after another period of pressure from the hosts.

The point sees Jersey Bulls drop to 15th place in the division having won two and drawn five of their eight matches.
