Portsmouth players return for pre-season

Portsmouth players have returned from their holidays to begin the first phase of pre-season.

The club posted pictures of the players undergoing testing and some light running on the grass at their training centre.

The fixtures for the new Championship season are released at 12:00 BST on Thursday.

Portsmouth will be aiming to build on their 16th-place finish last term, which they ended with a five-match unbeaten run.
