When a team scores five goals against an opponent it is often hard for defenders to get the credit or praise that they deserve.

Jurrien Timber missed most of last season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, but this season he has been one of Arsenal's most important players.

He has played 45 times so far this season and kept Vinicius Junior quiet for the majority of both Champions League quarter-final legs against Real Madrid.

Timber plays anywhere along the backline and his ability to step into midfield, defend well and also be available for most games, especially in Arsenal's injury crisis, has seen him become a key part of Arsenal's team.

The defender always offers quality and his calmness is a big reason why the Arsenal backline looks so assured.
