'I want to get Reading back to where it belongs'

Reading midfielder Ben Elliott has said that he wants to get the Royals "back to where they belong".
After spending 10 consecutive seasons in the Championship, Reading were relegated to League One in 2023 and last season finished 16th in the third tier under Ruben Selles.
Elliott signed for Reading from Chelsea in the summer of 2023 and this season has been a regular in the side, playing a part in all 14 of their league matches.
"The team's been doing well but we can still improve," Elliott told BBC Radio Berkshire.
"It's been nice to get lots of starts and I'm definitely enjoying myself out there but I just try to keep kicking on and putting myself in the manager's team sheet.
"I want to help this team push on and get this club back to where it belongs, I'm also trying to improve as much as possible myself."
Reading have won seven, drawn two and lost five of their league games this season to sit 10th in the third tier.
Their home form has been impressive, with the 18 points they have gained at Select Car Leasing Stadium giving them the second-best home record in the division.
In contrast, they have only picked up five points from seven away games since the start of the season.
"We always want to be looking up at where we can go," Elliott, 22, added.
"This team has good potential but we need to improve our away form and hopefully we can carry on what we have been doing at home."
Reading have an opportunity to improve their record on the road on Saturday when they take on 12th-placed Peterborough.
