When is the EFL Cup fourth-round draw?

The draw for the fourth round of the 2025-26 EFL Cup takes place on Wednesday, 24 September.

Proceedings will start after the conclusion of the third-round tie between League One outfit Port Vale and Premier League side Arsenal.

A total of 16 teams will enter the draw, made up of the winners of the 16 third-round matches.

Premier League sides Manchester United, Sunderland, Leeds United, West Ham United, Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest will not feature, having already been eliminated.

League Two Grimsby Town, who knocked Manchester United out in the second round, are among the EFL sides featuring in the fourth-round draw, alongside Swansea City.

The fourth round fixtures will take place across the week beginning on 27 October.
