Rooney takes positives from Plymouth cup defeat

Plymouth Argyle boss Wayne Rooney says there are positives to take from his side's 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat at Watford.
The Pilgrims were second best for long periods and were indebted to debutant goalkeeper Dan Grimshaw for not suffering a bigger loss.
Argyle are yet to win against a Championship side this season, having drawn their last two league games after an opening-day loss at Sheffield Wednesday.
"There were some positives in there, we moved the ball nicely at times and played some good stuff at times," Rooney told BBC Radio Devon.
"But I think we could have been more aggressive both in possession and out of possession.
"I felt we turned down really good opportunities to put the ball in the box and try and cause problems and try and get more shots at goal."
Rooney made nine changes from the side which drew 1-1 at Queens Park Rangers with nine men on Saturday.
He handed debuts to striker Michael Obafemi and goalkeeper Grimshaw, who let the ball go through his legs for Watford's opener.
But the recent signing from Blackpool made amends with four or five excellent saves before the Hornets put the game beyond Argyle in the second half.
"Unfortunately for goalkeepers, you make a mistake and it normally ends up in a goal," said Rooney.
"But I felt his reaction after that was fantastic, he made some great saves.
"He was composed with the ball at his feet, so I was pleased with his overall performance.
"Obviously mistakes happen for goalkeepers at times, but overall I think he had a good game."
