Luton Town have sold Japanese international defender Daiki Hashioka to Czech Republic champions Slavia Prague for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old signed for the Hatters from Belgian side Sint-Truiden in January 2024 and became the club's first ever Japanese player.

He made 28 appearances in all competitions during his spell at Luton, including 10 in the Premier League in his first season at the club.

Hashioka is the second player to leave Kenilworth Road in as many days following the departure of former captain Carlton Morris to Derby County on Thursday.
