Rotherham have signed defender Denzel Hall from Dutch side Heerenveen for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old full-back has signed a three-year contract with the Millers and is their eighth signing this summer.

He said, external: "My agent said there was interest a few weeks ago and very quickly it came together.

"I felt at home straight away, this is the first time I have played in a different country and I can't wait to get started.

"I have a lot of friends who play in England. I am a fast and aggressive defender who likes to join in the attack and tries to be calm on the ball."

Rotherham begin their League One season against Port Vale on Saturday, 2 August.
