Masterson signs new one-year deal with Gillingham

Conor Masterson has made 112 appearances for Gillingham

Gillingham centre-back Conor Masterson has signed a new one-year deal with the League Two club.

The 26-year-old has made 112 appearances across three spells with Gills, scoring nine goals.

Masterson played 26 games in all competitions as the Kent-based club finished 17th in the league last season.

"I know the club inside out, I have played my best football here and I am excited to get going again," he told the club website.

"I have a connection with the fans. We are all hungry now for next season; we know what we want and we'll take it one game at a time and focus on ourselves."
