Barrow sign midfielder Harper from Port Vale

Rekeem Harper's only league goal for Port Vale came in a 2-1 home victory against Salford City in February

League Two side Barrow have signed midfielder Rekeem Harper from Port Vale on a two-year deal.

Harper, 25, joins Andy Whing's Bluebirds after making 21 league appearances last season for the Valiants during their promotion-winning campaign.

"I spoke to the gaffer recently and our ambitions aligned, and I'm happy to finally be here at this football club," Harper told the club website.

Harper started his career at West Bromwich Albion before moving to Ipswich Town for £500,000 in 2021.

He becomes Barrow's fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
