Torquay add midfielder Hasani to squad

Lirak Hasani played 11 times in League One for Doncaster Rovers

Torquay United have signed former Gateshead and Doncaster Rovers midfielder Lirak Hasani.

The 21-year-old has played 23 times for Gateshead since joining them from Doncaster Rovers in the summer of 2022.

He also had spells at National League North sides Boston United, Blyth Spartans and South Shields.

Hasani scored two goals in 24 appearances for South Shields last season as the club missed out on the play-offs by a point.

He becomes the seventh new player to join the club since a transfer embargo was lifted last weekend.
