Mansfield sign ex-Brentford forward Dickov

Max Dickov will be hoping for first-team football with Mansfield

Mansfield Town have signed former Brentford forward Max Dickov on a one-year contract.

The 23-year-old son of ex-Manchester City, Leicester and Scotland striker Paul Dickov had been with Brentford since 2022 but only played for their B team.

He was previously with non-league Stockport Town after spells in the youth set-up at Manchester City and Oldham Athletic.

Dickov joins a Mansfield side beaten in their first two games of the new League One season. They are away to Exeter City on Saturday.
