Charlton midfielder Anderson signs new deal to 2028

Karoy Anderson has scored five times for Charlton's senior side

Charlton midfielder Karoy Anderson has signed a new deal with the club, running until 2028.

The 20-year-old came through the club's academy and made his first senior appearance for the Addicks in 2022.

He has made 78 senior appearances overall, scoring five goals and assisting four times.

"This means a lot to me," Anderson told the club.

"Charlton has a very fond place in my heart and I've obviously been here for a long, long time.

"I know all of the coaches and all of the academy staff, so it's a proper homely feel.

"The Championship is a tougher level that requires more, but it's an opportunity to grow, work harder and get to that level."
