Gillingham have successfully appealed the red card shown to full-back Remeao Hutton during Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Grimsby Town.

The 27-year-old was given a straight red card for a foul on Mariners striker Jaze Kabia as he looked to break through on goal with the score goalless.

The visitors were later reduced to nine men when former Wales international Jonny Williams was also sent off in the second half for two bookable offences within the space of three minutes.

Hutton was due to serve a one-match suspension but will now be available for Gillingham's League Two game against Salford City on Saturday (15:00 BST).
