Price hat-trick earns Cardiff dramatic win at Aberystwyth

Wrexham 3-0 Cardiff Met: Wrexham earned their second league win of the season to pull five points clear of bottom spot. Abbie Iddenden put the home side ahead on 21 minutes, with Rosie Hughes extending Wrexham's lead 11 minutes after half-time. Olivia Fuller bagged her team's third late on to seal victory. Defeat - their fifth from six league games - leaves the Archers in seventh.
The New Saints 1-1 Barry Town United: Barry came from behind to earn a point against TNS. Lexi Jones netted her third league goal of the campaign to put the Saints ahead after just five minutes. But Ellie Preece scored for the fifth game in succession across all competitions to level proceedings four minutes later as the points were shared. Both sides have 11 points from their opening six Adran Premier matches.
Aberystwyth Town 2-4 Cardiff City: Ffion Price struck a second-half hat-trick as reigning champions Cardiff City came from two goals down to beat winless Aberystwyth at Park Avenue. Lleucu Mathias fired Aber ahead from a free-kick three minutes before the break. Rebecca Mathias doubled the home side's advantage on the stroke of half-time to leave Iain Darbyshire's outfit with a mountain to climb. Price gave the Bluebirds hope on the hour mark with her fourth goal of the season before completing her brace with a thumping hit on 79 minutes. And the 27-year-old netted her third from a floated free-kick in the 89th minute before Fiona Barry bagged a late fourth as the Bluebirds rose to the summit of the table. Aber stay rock bottom with just one point from six games.
