Lopez expected to stay at Barcelona

Chelsea had been targeting a move for attacker Fermin Lopez but Barcelona now expect him to stay.

The 22-year-old had been subject to an offer over the weekend and had been weighing up the chance to move to Stamford Bridge.

However, priorities switched to resolving the striker situation after Liam Delap suffered a serious-looking hamstring injury and Lopez hasn't looked to force his exit from the Nou Camp.
