Birmingham have enough depth to 'win something' - Dykes

Birmingham City striker Lyndon Dykes says the way their much-changed side beat fellow League One side Blackpool in the FA Cup shows they have the depth to "win something" as they prepare for a vital game against promotion rivals Stockport.
Dykes's early goal put Blues on their way to a 2-1 win at Bloomfield Road and a date with another third-tier side, Lincoln City, in round three.
It was Scotland striker Dykes' first Blues goal since netting against Fulham Under-21s in a 7-1 win in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy (now the Vertu Trophy) in late October.
"I want to score goals, my game's an all-round one but I want to score and it's nice to get an opportunity to do that," he told BBC Radio WM.
"I don't mind playing anywhere on the pitch - I'm happy to get 90 minutes."

Dykes has largely been confined to the bench in Blues' impressive campaign so far.
Nine of his 12 league appearances have been as a substitute, with Jay Stansfield and Alfie May mainly the starting choices for boss Chris Davies.
But with Davies making 10 changes for the cup tie, former Queens Park Rangers striker Dykes took his opportunity with both hands.
"It's not hidden that we've got a massive squad and a lot of the boys are disappointed when they're not playing - including myself - but we did well and came away with what we wanted," he said.
"We've been working hard on the training pitch and we all need to be fit and ready because when the time comes we need to make sure we're ready."
Dykes may have given Davies something to ponder ahead of Wednesday's important game against fifth-placed Stockport, who are three points below Birmingham in the League One table.
The Hatters, last season's League Two champions, will arrive at St Andrew's off the back of three league wins in a row.
It is the first of a key run of games in the next seven days with third-placed Blues away at another team hunting promotion - Barnsley - on Saturday before their last-32 tie at Exeter in the Vertu Trophy on 10 December.
"You want to win every game and we all play lots of games and we have to cope with it and get on with it," Dykes said.
"The football doesn't change and suits the way the manager wants to play and that suits us.
"We showed a different side to us [against Blackpool] and showed we can be both a football team and one that can be more direct.
"If we want to win something, that's what we have to have."
