Uefa Men's Under-17 finals: Wales 1-1 Croatia

Wales bowed out of the Uefa European Under-17 finals in Cyprus with a 1-1 draw which also saw opponents Croatia knocked out.
Defeats to Denmark and Austria meant that Wales already knew they could not qualify for the knockout stages.
Croatia, needing a win to advance, went ahead after 23 minutes when Bruno Durdov’s inswinging corner beat Wales keeper Max Hudson.
But Wales were level nine minutes later through Cruz Allen’s curling free-kick.
Craig Knight’s side could have been ahead at the break with Elliot Myles firing past the post before Louis Griffiths was denied by Antonio Rajic.
Griffiths went close in the second half with an effort which found the side netting as Croatia searched for the winner that they needed.
Austria beat Denmark 4-0 in the other Group B game, with both sides advancing to the quarter-finals.
Wales were appearing in their second successive finals following their appearance in Hungary last year.
