Watford team manager Gianmarco Ceresa has been been given a two-match touchline ban and fined £1,000 for verbally abusing a match official following their game against QPR on 16 August.
The 34-year-old, who has been at the club in various roles since 2017, admitted a Football Association misconduct charge.
The incident occurred in the tunnel area at the end of the match, which Watford won 2-1.
The Hornets continue their Championship campaign with a home fixture against Southampton on Saturday, which kicks off at 15:00 BST.
