Charlton Athletic have signed Cuba international winger Onel Hernandez on a short-term contract.
The 32-year-old was released in the summer following seven years at Norwich City.
Hernandez scored 15 goals in 210 appearances for the Canaries and was part of two Championship title-winning sides in his time at the club.
The Addicks are seventh in the table and unbeaten in their past three matches.
"I'm really happy to be here. I've known the coach [Nathan Jones] for a long time and I've played against his teams," he told the club's website, external.
"He's a very good coach who knows what he wants from his players.
"As soon as I had a conversation with Nathan, I knew straight away that it was something I wanted to be a part of."
Hernandez played for Arminia Bielefeld, Werder Bremen, Wolfsburg and Eintracht Braunschweig in Germany before moving to Norwich in 2018.
He spent the first half of the 2021-22 season on loan at Middlesbrough before completing the season at Birmingham City.
He has scored four goals in 14 appearances for the Cuba national team.
