Charlton Athletic were hit by a cyber attack in August which wiped "significant financial data" the club said.
The Addicks' accounts show the club lost £14m in 2023-24, an increase of 48% on the previous year.
Revenue for the club was down almost exactly £1m from £9.8m to £8.81m.
However the accounts filed at Companies House carried a disclaimer to say the report had been impacted by a ransomware cyber attack on the club last year.
"On 6 August 2024 the club were subject to a ransomware cyber attack to its legacy accounting system, which had been in use since 31 October 2023.
"As a result of the attack - for which the final impact was covered under the club's insurance policy - significant financial data was wiped and was unavailable," the report said.
"While the direct financial impact was mitigated, the attack also disrupted other areas of activity including the financial records of the business."
SE7 Partners, fronted by former Sunderland director Charlie Methven, completed a takeover of Charlton from previous owner Thomas Sandgaard in July 2023.
The club replaced manager Michael Appleton with Nathan Jones in February last year and finished 16th in League One in 2023-24.
They are fifth in the table this season and require nine points from their final five games to guarantee a spot in the play-offs.
