Darren Ferguson says his Peterborough United players are "definitely all in it together" going into the new season, something he feels has not always been the case in the past.
Manager Ferguson, who guided his side to a second successive EFL Trophy win last season, has overseen significant changes this summer at the League One club.
Emmanuel Fernandez, Hector Kyprianou, Kwame Poku, Ricky-Jade Jones, Jed Steer and Malik Mothersille have been among the main departures.
Mothersille and Poku were Peterborough's joint-top league scorers in 2024-25 with 12 goals each, Jones contributing 11.
Five new faces have arrived so far in the current transfer window - Alex Bass, Sam Hughes, Brandon Khela, Declan Frith and Kyrell Lisbie.
Following Posh's 1-0 friendly win against National League Boston United on Saturday, Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "What I found in the whole of the pre-season since we've come back is a real great togetherness.
"There's a real good feeling around the dressing room, which is going to be the most vital thing. They're all doing everything we've asked them to the best of their ability.
"Every time we train, they're at it. There's no one with an edge to them. I feel that was important going into this season.
"I felt the last couple of seasons we've maybe not had that completely, but certainly with this group, they're definitely all in it together, which is an important thing."
Peterborough finished 18th in League One last term, just five points clear of the relegation places, having reached the play-offs in the two previous seasons.
They have three more friendlies this week - against MK Dons on Tuesday, Colchester United on Friday and Grimsby Town on Saturday - before kicking off the new league campaign at Cardiff City on 2 August.
