Women's National League Southern Premier Division leaders Bournemouth proved too strong for Gwalia United to win 3-0 at a windswept University of Wales Sports Park.
The unbeaten Cherries were playing against the elements in the first half in Treforest, but managed to twice rattle the home woodwork.
Jenna Markham broke the deadlock in the 51st minute, steering home after sustained pressure to finally beat Benedicte Haland in the Gwalia goal.
Sophie Quirk added two goals in the last quarter of the game to seal the win for a Bournemouth side containing former Gwalia midfielder Elena Cole.
The Cherries remain top of the division with 10 points from four games, just ahead of Watford on goal difference, while Gwalia drop to sixth.
