The Owls secured winger Ibrahim Cissoko on loan from Toulouse until the end of the season and brought in midfielder Stuart Armstrong from Vancouver Whitecaps.
Perhaps their most significant piece of business was holding on to on-loan Southampton midfielder Shea Charles with city rivals Sheffield United rumoured to be interested in taking him to Bramall Lane.
