Jersey Bulls‘ three-game unbeaten run in Isthmian League South East came to an end as they lost 2-1 at Broadbridge Heath.

Despite creating a host of chances - including good efforts for James Sunley and Rai Dos Santos - Bulls were behind at the break.

The hosts had a 25th minute goal ruled out for a foul before Zac Young put the them ahead nine minutes later with a long range effort.

Young made it 2-0 from the penalty spot after Louis Evans was brought down in the area by Adam Trotter 10 minutes after half time.

James Queree pulled a goal back from the penalty spot 14 minutes later after Rai Dos Santos was fouled by Luke Staight.

Trotter flashed an effort wide from the edge of box with 17 minutes to go while Luke Watson fired a stoppage time effort straight at the goalkeeper as Bulls tried in vain to salvage a point.

The islanders remain in 13th place after the loss while Broadbridge Heath move up to eighth place.
