Morfuni does 'not fully agree' with fan concerns

Swindon Town owner Clem Morfuni said he does "not fully agree" with a fan group who called for a change of ownership at the club.
Trust STFC wrote an open letter that said it had "lost confidence and trust" in the club's leadership and called for Morfuni to sell.
Swindon finished the 2023-24 League Two season in 19th, four places above the relegation zone.
"While we value the feedback from the Supporters Trust and the wider fan community, we would like to mention that we do not fully agree with all the points raised in the open letter," Morfuni said, external.
"Nevertheless, we believe that open dialogue and collaboration with our fan base is essential to future success."
The Australian businessman took over the Robins in July 2021 after a lengthy legal process and said he acknowledged last season had not been "up to our club's standards".
Morfuni said he planned to request a meeting with supporter groups to discuss their letter and concerns.
"Our team has already taken steps towards addressing some known issues, as we sat down together during my recent visit and started working on solutions," he said.
On the pitch Swindon have had five different managers in the three years since Morfuni took over and results have led to them sliding down the fourth-tier table.
While there have been positive changes, such as the purchase of the County Ground, with the club and supporters' trust both owning a 50% share of the stadium, there has been growing discontent among fans over issues behind the scenes.
Morfuni was fined by the English Football League in March for failing to declare a transfer of shares, two months after the club was placed under a transfer embargo for late HMRC payments.
In November Morfuni said he was not actively looking to sell the club.
