Grimsby forward Gardner signs new contract

Cameron Gardner made his debut for Grimsby in the EFL Trophy against Barnsley last September, aged 17

Grimsby Town forward Cameron Gardner has extended his contract until the end of the 2027-28 season.

The 19-year-old has made 15 appearances in all competitions for the Mariners this season.

He scored his first goal in senior football in the 3-2 win over Chesterfield in the EFL Trophy earlier this month.

“We are delighted to tie up Cam to a new deal and he’s fully deserved it. What he has achieved as a first-year professional has been excellent," boss Dave Artell told the club website.
