Huddersfield sign Palace keeper Goodman

Owen Goodman kept clean sheets in all three of AFC Wimbledon's games in the League Two play-offs last season

Huddersfield Town have signed Crystal Palace goalkeeper Owen Goodman on a season-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old, who has represented England up to under-20 level, was ever-present in League Two for AFC Wimbledon last season as they won promotion.
"In each discussion I've held with him, Owen displayed a hunger to succeed and enthusiasm to contribute to our shared goals in the season to come, with his own ambitions aligned to our own," Terriers boss Lee Grant told the club website., external
"He played a key role in AFC Wimbledon's successes last season, and wants to push himself to improve further still."
Goodman will start pre-season with the Premier League side before joining up with Huddersfield later this month.
