Crystal Palace unlikely to replace recalled Chalobah

Crystal Palace are unlikely to sign another centre-back after defender Trevoh Chalobah was recalled by Chelsea.
On Wednesday, the Blues used their recall option to end Chalobah's loan deal with the Eagles and he returned to his parent club.
Chris Richards stepped into the side on the right side of the Eagles back three for the victory over Leicester City in the Premier League with summer signing Chadi Riad on the bench.
Riad has been out for large parts of this season but has been building up his fitness playing for the under-21 side and managed 90 minutes in the FA Cup victory over Stockport County when Chalobah was unavailable due to 'contractual issues'.
Sources indicate that, with Riad returning from injury and Richards available too, the club feel that they have enough in the squad to be covered for the rest of the season.
The plan for this window was to sign an attacker and a left wing-back to bolster Oliver Glasner's squad and Palace are close to signing Millwall forward Romain Esse.
Esse was left out of the Lions victory over Dagenham & Redbridge with head coach Alex Neil acknowledging a deal with Palace was progressing.
