Former Huddersfield Town captain Jonathan Hogg has returned to the club in a role with the club's academy.
The 36-year-old midfielder made 382 league appearances in 12 years with the Terriers before leaving at the end of last season.
He will now work alongside the club's academy coaches while training and playing matches with the under-21 side.
"Since the summer, I've been clear in my own mind that I wanted to make sure the next step I take within my career is the right one," he told the club website., external
"I considered opportunities away from Huddersfield Town and had discussions that might've taken me in another direction, none of those options sat right with myself or my family in the way that this one does.
"I've kept myself in good shape and have always enjoyed training, so combining that passion with helping younger players get ready for senior football feels like a natural fit."
