Torquay sign midfielder Wood on loan

Torquay United are third in National League South under boss Paul Wotton

Torquay United have signed midfielder Jack Wood from Southend United on an initial 28-day loan.

The 22-year-old has made 45 appearances for the Shrimpers and scored three goals since joining them from Kings Langley in January 2022.

He has been involved in 10 National League games this season - but all of them from the bench.

The deal was completed in time for Wood to be available for Torquay's National League South game against Farnborough on Saturday.
