Newport County beat the transfer window deadline to complete late loan deals for Leicester City pair Nathan Opoku and Sammy Braybrooke.
Forward Opoku, 24, and 21-year-old midfielder Braybrooke will both be available to County manager Dave Hughes until January 2026.
England Under-20 international Braybrooke joins the League Two side following a spell on loan in Scottish football with Dundee last season.
Exiles boss Hughes described Braybrooke as "a tenacious midfielder", adding: "He will add depth to our squad. His experience within the England youth system shows us how capable he is, and we're looking forward to seeing him represent the club."
A graduate from the Foxes academy – who made his senior debut for Leicester against Newport in the 2022-23 EFL Cup – Braybrooke featured in Premier League squads and Europa League squads under Brendan Rodgers before a knee ligament injury in February 2023 slowed his progress.
He made nine appearances for Dundee in the Scottish Premier League before being recalled in January by then-manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, but did not make a Premier League appearance.
Ghana-born Opoku has yet to make a senior appearance in English football having joined Leicester from Syracuse University in the United States in January 2023.
He has spent time on loan with Leicester's sister club, Belgian side OH Leuven, before returning to the Championship club's development side.
Exiles boss Hughes said: "We're delighted to welcome Nathan into the group. He brings us more options to our forward line and he comes with great experience despite only being 24.
"He's shown excellence at collegiate level and adaptability in Europe. This loan gives him an opportunity to shine while adding spark to our forward line."
Newport are currently 20th in League Two having lost their last four fixtures.
