Celtic have confirmed that Scotland defender Kieran Tierney will return in July when his contract at Arsenal expires.

And now chairman Peter Lawwell has referenced the arrangement in the club's interim report., external
Tierney has made one start and four substitute appearances for Arsenal since December, having been injured on international duty at Euro 2024.
He left Celtic for Arsenal in the summer of 2019, with a £25m fee reported.
Tierney made his Celtic debut in April 2015 and went on to make 170 appearances.
Lawwell admitted the Scottish champions "aimed to do more in the recent window", with Jeffrey Schlupp and Jota the only additions, but is confident the club "go into the remainder of the season from a strong position".
The financial report for the six months to December 31, 2024, reveals a profit before tax of £43.9m - up almost £12m from last year.
The Scottish champions made £21.5m from their transfer dealings, largely thanks to the sale of Matt O'Riley to Brighton.
